Re-Sale Information
We understand that there could be a number of reasons for considering the transfer of your Vacation Ownership at Attitash Mountain Village to a new owner. First, please consider allowing us to help you better utilize what you own. There are many options to change the week you own or the size of the unit you own. We can also work with you to join or rejoin RCI, so you can begin vacationing when you want / where you want – at more than 4,600 resorts around the world. A wealth of helpful information about the resale process can be found at www.ARDAROC.org, an organization representing the interests of Vacation Owners. To see the cost of other units on the resale market, consider joining Timeshare Users Group (TUG) at www.TUG2.net and check their sales database to see what other sellers are asking for their vacation week/unit.
To sell on your own, we recommend listing on the internet sites that do not charge a large up-front listing fee. We frequently see legitimate transfers from:

Another highly effective approach is to offer your Vacation Ownership to family members or friends. Often, they can take your week and trade it back to the resort towards a different week or different size unit to best fit their needs.
Once you have a buyer, there is a $450 transfer fee charged by the resort to cover the transfer and closing costs. If the current Owner has RCI, an additional $150 fee for RCI transfer support will apply, as well as any applicable RCI Membership Transfer Application fees. This can be paid by the seller or the buyer. The transfer process requires completion of a buyer information sheet to determine qualification and preparation of documents to be signed by all parties. All annual fees must be current, and if you have a mortgage, it must be paid in-full before title can legally be conveyed to the new owner.

Please be aware of unscrupulous individuals and entities presenting themselves as a relief, resale, or exit company. Even attorneys pretending to be consumer protection agencies are targeting Vacation Owners. They typically try to charge a very high fee to assist you in selling or giving back your Vacation Week and are not legitimate. They often refer to an appraisal fee, analysis fee, marketing fee, advertising fee, or a legal retainer. We recommend using caution and not paying these types of fees.
