Day 1
Afternoon: Check-in
After a late afternoon check-in, enjoy a leisurely walk to the river to stretch your legs after arriving.
Evening: Dinner out
Review your options for dinner reservations for tonight. Fine dining options abound, from the romantic Thomson House Eastery, Inn at Thorn Hill, or Christmas Farm Inn. All are a short drive to Jackson. Take a cab or even a limo (Sutton Limo) for an added bit of luxury.
Day 2
Morning: Breakfast in bed and shopping
Enjoy a relaxing breakfast in your in-room kitchen. Bring your cup of coffee out on your deck, patio, or in a nearby gazebo to smell the fresh mountain air.
Knowing that hiking is in your future, your first full day in town should involve visiting some of our major outdoor retail outlets on the “strip” in North Conway. REI opened a retail experience center last fall and their gear selection is truly epic. Mainstay LL Bean is just a few buildings away, with their iconic boots, outerwear, and casual clothing for sale. EMS is just up the road aways (look for the row of brightly colored kayaks out front – they are for sale along with their rugged fleece, boots and climbing gear).
Afternoon: Fun on the water
Under a warm afternoon sun, whether you buy that kayak or rent one from partners such as Saco River Canoe and Kayak, beat the crowds by choosing a local lake, such as Conway Lake or Silver Lake. Or join the fun on the Saco River, which can also be enjoyed on an inflatable tube. For guided tours, contact Great Glen Trails.
Evening: Pizza and a movie
Grab some pizza from Matty B’s located on the resort, and bring it back to your spacious suite. You have your choice of entertainment options with our upgraded high-speed wifi.
Day 3
Morning: Early breakfast
Get up and at ‘em early! Grab some breakfast at the nearby local favorite The Sunrise Shack.
Day Trip Hiking
There are so many options for hiking, it’s hard to know where to start. Might we recommend you start at Great Glen Trails. Attitash Mountain Village guests can use the trails free or use the 50% Discount on 4-Hour bike rental packages. While you’re in the area, the AMC Pinkham Notch Center is just a short drive away.
Evening: Hot tub time
After all that hiking, there’s nothing like a long soak in one of the outdoor hot tubs to relax sore muscles.
